ChatGPT Plus members can upload and analyze files in the latest beta

OpenAI has introduced new beta features for ChatGPT Plus members, including the ability to upload and analyze files. This update also includes multimodal support, eliminating the need for users to manually select modes. These features bring some of the office features from ChatGPT Enterprise to individual subscribers. While the multimodal update may not be available for all Plus members, the Advanced Data Analysis feature seems to work well. After feeding a file to ChatGPT, it takes a short time to process before being ready for use. The chatbot can then perform tasks like summarizing data, answering questions, and generating data visualizations. It’s not limited to text files and can also work with images. A user demonstrated this by uploading an image of a capybara and asking ChatGPT to create a Pixar-style image based on it. They further iterated on the concept by uploading another image of a wiggly skateboard, resulting in an image with a hat added to it.
